Self-Introduction
My name is Sung-Chi Hsu, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I am one of the geotechnical faculties in construction engineering department of CYUT. I am serving as the Dean of R&D Office right now, in charge of the institutional development of CYUT and managing the potential research projects for CYUT.
My area of interests are geotechnical engineering and rock engineering, and focused on slope stability of colluvium stratas in central Taiwan.
PIV method, UAV and LiDAR are employed to study the displacement fields of moving slopes in central Taiwan.
Most of the research projects were granted from Ministry of Science and Technology (National Science Council).
My dissertation was focused on the slope stability of big open excavation of Super Conducting Super collider (SSC) project. Eagle Ford Shale was the main rock formation that will be encountered in the analyses.
